the Bears are still lookin for an answer at the QB position. the Browns have Jamal Lewis who is aging and a pro bowl QB in Derek Anderson. so how does this trade sound?

Browns get : 2009 2nd round draft pick
QB Kyle Orton
RB Cedric Benson

Bears get : QB Brady Quinn

theres no way tht goes down first of all there not giving up on Benson whn he was a top5 pick and there def not gonna give up a second they would suck even more doin tht. And third of all no way Cleveland wants Orton lol.

Brows dont want to get rid of Quinn. Anderson is only technically a pro bowl QB because every other QB in the AFC that was invited to the pro bowl didnt want to play. Hell, if a few more QBs didnt feel like playing in the pro bowl, Beck would be a pro bowl QB. I still dont see Anderson as a long term fixture and Quinn will be a starter soon.

I think if Anderson has another good year and takes them into the playoffs, the Browns will @ least open up to taking some offers and considering some ideas, but as of now I don't see it happening.

exactly...i think the browns need to see a little bit more of Anderson before they can say he is "their guy" and thus making Quinn expendable.

I actually think the Bears would be giving up too much for an unproven guy. Rex looked like the guy coming out of college and we all know how that is playing out. And without Benson the Bears are left with a rookie, a very small Wolfe, and an average Peterson at runningback. If anything, Bensons adds depth but he is still capable of starting and probably will start most games this season.

But that is probably just as unnatractive to the Browns as it is to Chicago. They don't know for sure if Anderson is going to be the long term guy so I'm sure they like holding on to Quinn until they find out.

Yet I would like to get Quinn on the Bears. Maybe a 1st rounder and Rex. That would sit better with me.

Bad move for both teams here. The Browns lose a first round pick that they had to trade up to get for 2 backups and a second rounder... and the Bears gamble their second-round pick and a RB who may not start but will atleast battle for the number one spot.

Sorry to say but I really don't think Rex or Benson is the problem. Rex can't throw if he doesn't have time and Benson can't run against 8 man fronts. The Bears need a better o-line cause it wouldn't matter if they traded for Peyton freakin Manning.

I like your thinking. Rex being the problem is only the tip of the iceberg (or "just the tip" -VV), what lies beneath the surface is the o-line problems which is the bigger problem. Everyones quick reaction is blame Rex.
