Do you like the play in game or do you think its stupid. I tend to go with the latter. It's not fair to the teams who are forced to play in this debacle to have to play into the tournament. Just like any small school in the dance, they won their conference tournament championship, and i think they should be rewarded with a REAL spot in the show. It wouldn't kill the tournament to take away one at large bid. What do you think?

I think its retarted. Like you said, its hardly part of the big dance. If you win your conference, I think you have earned the right to play on Thursday or Friday. The first weekend is huge for exposure for your school, and I think that you shouldnt have to win a play in game to get that chance.

I think its stupid, too...but the teams who get left out always whine that too many shitty mid-majors make it. So in that sense, the play-in game makes sense.
