The Twins bullpen took a hit when they placed side armer Pat Neshek on the 15 Day DL. The Twins are going to be cautious with Neshek who has a tear in his ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. The Twins are hoping that Neshek won't need Tommy John Surgery since than he would also miss most of the 2009 Season as well

The news is that he will avoid Tommy John and will be able to fully recover with rest and rehabilitation, and the hope is that he will be ready for opening day '09.
