They'll rebound. They are just now starting to get their pitchers healthy and Leyland had to tinker a little because of the way they started but even that is strting to show results.

Rodney, Zumaya and Willis are a couple weeks out. until then Granderson is coming back and Sheffield has started to turn the corner with his bat.

You know what everyone raved about their team, I just didnt see it. Willis is awful, ioverated garbage, He was horrendous last year in the NL, and pitched in a huge ball park, why would things change for him coming to play in a tougher division? And Cabrera is not suiyted to play in Comerica Park, I know Marlins stadium is equally as spacious, but the NL is chicken feed compare to the AL of course his numbers would dip. The Tigers win on speed, defense and great contact hitting, how does Cabrera fit into this equation

Willis didn't shine too much the last season but he put up solid numbers the other years. He had a rough spring when he came to Detroit but from what they are saying here is that he's becoming healthy and his command is a lot better. As far as Cabrera goes, He is one of those players that could be on the cusp of greatness and All they wanted him for was a steady glove and his electric bat. Of course much like everything else Tigers this year, things haven't worked out the way they should have. Both of those players are going to do fine in Detroit, Cabrera just has to improve his defense.

If he needs love then i suggest less errors. It's crazy how many errors the Tigers have between the corners. It's around 8 or 9 and we've only played 40 games or so.

They're definitely not dead. They're only 3.5 games back despite being 4-12 against their own division. While I'm not sure they're the best team in the division, clearly they're on the same level as Chicago and Cleveland.

With the emergence of Galarraga, they at least have another option to turn to in the rotation. While I don't think he's the real deal, he appears to be a solid option that can eat innings at the very least. When they get Rodney and Zumaya back, they'll be a much improved team with a strong back-end. Everyone bashes their starting pitching, but that group will keep them in position to win games, and that's all they really need to be able to do with that lineup.

Agreed, they'll be okay.

Verlander won't be 1-6 for much longer. NO WAY he'll struggle throughout the entire season.

agreed... but we have all seen crazier things happen... just aske the Mets, they have been on both sides of crazy comebacks... and remember the Astros in 2004 they sta
