	Davis is dealing with a minor knee injury. It limited him in Wednesday's practice, but he should be able to play against the Vikings this weekend. With Brandon Lloyd likely out again and Minnesota's defense struggling against the pass, Davis is a strong play this week.

	Stokley sat out practice on Wednesday. Coming off a concussion, which he says is the tenth of his career, he's probably better off taking Week 7 off and fully utilizing Denver's Week 8 bye. With Eddie Royal set to return this week, Stokley's value drops again anyway.

	Moore may end up starting the Steelers' Week 7 game against Cincinnati. Willie Parker is day-to-day after aggravating his knee, potentially giving Moore at least one more start this season. He clearly has fantasy value if Parker can't play.

	The Bills trade with Indianapolis, which involved McCargo for a fourth-round draft pick, has fallen through. All was good until McCargo failed his physical when he was found to have a bulging disc in his back. The Colts will need to look elsewhere to plug the holes in their defensive line.

	Smith's shoulder injury may not be as minor as we expected. He missed practice today, so the team might just be having him rest the ailing shoulder. If he can't practice tomorrow or Thursday, it'll be time to be seriously concerned. Rudi Johnson would get practically all the carries against Houston if Smith can't play.

	With Roy Williams gone, Furrey moves up the depth chart and most likely into the starting lineup. He'll line up opposite Calvin Johnson, who is the only Lions' wideout worth owning. I'd be more enthusiastic about Furrey if Dan Orlovsky wasn't playing quarterback.

	McDonald could see a lot more playing time now that Roy Williams is gone. Mike Furrey will likely replace Williams in the starting lineup, but McDonald will see snaps on three and four receiver sets. Of course, that does not mean you should go pick him up.

	Robinson sat out Wednesday's practice with his knee injury. The situation in Seattle is an ugly one, as Bobby Engram is the only receiver who's both healthy and worth owning. With Matt Hasselbeck sidelined, I'd advise avoiding them all for now.

	Green is already injured again. That didn't take long! This time it's his foot that's bothering him. Green's days of being a durable NFL back are long gone, as are his days of fantasy relevance.

	Booker's ailing knee kept him out Wednesday's practice. He's only caught more than two passes once in a game all season. Healthy knee or not, Booker is not a reliable fantasy option, unless you enjoy 2 reception/30 yard production.

	Billy Cundiff worked out for the Saints on Wednesday. Mehlhaff took over for an injured Grammatica, but could the rookie's season be over after one game? We'll track this story and update you should anything happen. I featured Mehlhaff in this week's Waiver Prescription, but our hopes for him in the Saints' offense could be rather short-lived.

	Bulger's finger injury did not limit him in Wednesday's practice. There was never any doubt about his status for Week 7, but now it's completely clear that he'll start against Dallas.

	Romo has declared that he is able to play through his broken pinkie. While you admire his guts, the Cowboys may not see it as the wisest move. It's doubtful he'd play on Sunday, but you never know what might happen in Dallas. At best, it's safe to assume he'll miss several games but perhaps not the previously expected four games.

	Rhodes stands to start at running back for the next 2-4 weeks while Joseph Addai is out with a partially torn hamstring. He should be owned in all fantasy formats, as he has a nice matchup against the Packers this week and plays in Peyton Manning's offense.

	Young was able to participate in parts of Wednesday's practice. As of now, Michael Pittman and Ryan Torain are the only running backs with fantasy value. Young could play on Monday night, but owners should avoid using him with the questions surrounding him.

	Brown has been re-signed by the Rams and will start on defense against Dallas on Sunday. The Rams' rotation of defensive backs this season continues. He totaled eight tackles in three games earlier this season.

	Royal took part in all of Broncos' practice today. That's the best possible news you could ask for if you own Royal. His ankle might not be 100% on Monday night, but as of now he's a sure bet to play against New England.

	Scheffler took part in limited portions of Wednesday's practice. He sat out Week 6 and his status for Week 7 could come down to a game-time decision. The bad news is that he plays on Monday night, meaning you'll need to commit to him or bench him the day before his game.

	Starting Sunday, Crayton will be the Cowboys' punt returner. Adam "PacMan" Jones won't be playing football for at least four weeks and possibly the rest of the season. Crayton's value goes down with the trade for Roy Williams, but playing a return role makes him a decent flex play in deeper leagues.

Chris Taylor - WR ...on 10/15/08 6:52pm / Houston Texans Comments (0)
	Taylor sat out Wednesday's practice with a quad injury. He's already missed a few games and is doubtful to play in Week 7. Ahman Green is still not 100%, so Steve Slaton will continue to be Houston's featured running back.
