	Hawk is questionable for the Packers Week 1 game. A team doctor needs to clear him to play with his injured chest muscle. I expect he will play, but if you want to play it safe, start another IDP since Green Bay doesn't play until Monday night.

	Dumervil is probable for the Broncos Week 1 game. A cast will protect his injured finger on Monday against the Raiders. Dumervil had 12 sacks and played all 16 games last season.

	Morgan will not start at WR on Sunday, but the team expects him to play some downs at WR and return kicks. Nothing surprising here from Mike Martz. We'll see how big of a role Morgan plays on a weekly basis here. He was a major weapon in the preseason, so we'd love to see him get a chance at the starting receiver role.

	Jones has lost the Texans number four receiver spot to David Anderson. He caught 15 balls in 14 games last season and isn't worth owning in fantasy leagues at this point.

	If Javon Walker can't play on Monday, Higgins and Ashley Lelie will be relied upon as the Raiders receiving corp. Higgins has one of the better names in football, but he's unproven. Walker could be a game-time decision. Ronald Curry is the only Raiders receiver worth starting, but Lelie could see a few targets as well.

	Peters returned to the team on Saturday and will hopefully play in Week 2. Him ending his holdout brings a sigh of relief from Marshawn Lynch owners. Buffalo travels to Jacksonville next week.

	Jackson is probable for the Broncos Week 1 game. With Brandon Marshall serving his suspension, Jackson, Brandon Stokley, Tony Scheffler and Eddie Royal will need to get it done in receiving department.

	The Cardinals placed Johnson on injured reserve Saturday, sidelining him for the season. Johnson hurt his knee in training camp and had surgery in early August. Coach Ken Whisenhunt had said he hoped to have him back in the lineup on opening day. Johnson missed two games last year with a knee injury.

	Smith has admitted that his shoulder, which he injured in the preseason, is still bothering him. He plans to play through it this season, but it's something fantasy owners need to be aware of. Hopefully he'll play every week after his two-game suspension.

	The Bills enter Week 1 with big plans for Lynch. The team plans on a run-oriented offense, as well as make Lynch more of a part of the passing game. Lynch looks to improve on a strong rookie season and it sounds like he'll have a major workload.

	Mendenhall should expect to get 10-15 carries on Sunday. The rookie will return kicks and back up Willie Parker. He's had trouble holding on to the football in the preseason, but he'll be a part of the offense in Week 1. If you start him, hope one of those carries gets him into the end zone.

	The Cowboys signed Jefferson off their practice squad Saturday, giving them a potential fourth receiver for their season opener. With Sam Hurd (left ankle) and Miles Austin (sprained right knee) both out, and Isaiah Stanback expected to play despite having to wear a shoulder harness, the Cowboys were left with Terrell Owens and Patrick Crayton as the only healthy wideouts for the opener Sunday at Cleveland. Offensive lineman James Marten, a third-round pick in 2007, was released to make room on the 53-man roster.

	The 49ers added Smith to their injury report Saturday, listing him as doubtful for Sunday's game against Arizona with another problem in his surgically repaired right shoulder. The 49ers didn't specify what was wrong with Smith, only saying the injury occurred without contact during practice Friday. Smith, the former No. 1 overall draft pick, was expected to back up J.T. O'Sullivan, who beat out Smith for the starting job in training camp. Dr. James Andrews performed surgery on Smith in Alabama in December, about 2 1/2 months after Smith's shoulder was separated on a sack by Seattle's Rocky Bernard.
