	There were expected to be some serious winds from tropical storm Hannah during the Chiefs/Patriots game today, but weather reports indicate they won't be as bad as originally feared. Either way, Brady should put up an ariel assault against a poor Kansas City secondary.

	There's a chance McAllister may not play on Sunday. Reggie Bush will start, but we expected Duece to back him up and see some carries. Apparently the Saints are not as confident in his knees as we thought yesterday.

	Gates will start and play against the Panthers today. The big question remains how effective he will be, and that won't be known until we see how much his toe affects his ability to cut and move.

	Price is out for Sunday's game at New England. A thigh injury will keep him sidelined for what could potentially be a very long afternoon for the Chiefs.

	Delhomme won't have his favorite target (Steve Smith) on Sunday, but he will have Muhsin Muhammad and D.J. Hackett. Dwayne Jarrett might get a few looks as well, and none of these guys are a Smith-caliber player, but at least Hackett is healthy. That said, the Panthers take on the Chargers formidable defense.

	Walker's status remains as questionable, but it's looking more and more like he'll start on Monday night. He was able to practice on Saturday, which was the big hurdle to overcome in determining his status for Monday. Oakland hosts Denver in the second Monday night game.

	Smith has the potential to be a sneaky TE play today. The Eagles receiving corp is banged up, making Smith the most experienced receiver on the field against St. Louis. Smith let us down last year, after the Eagles franchised him, but his status rises with injuries to Reggie Brown and Kevin Curtis.

	Grant is expected to start in the Packers Monday Night game against Minnesota. His hamstring limited him to playing only one preseason snap and he faces the #1 rushing defense from 2007. He'll need to get off to a quick start on Monday, or he could be in for a long night.

	Lewis remains as a game-time decision for Sunday's game against Dallas. He doesn't play until 4:15, so fantasy owners will need to make a decision several hours before his final status will likely be known. I expect him to play though.

	McGahee is expected to play today, but limit your expectations. He may or may not start, as how his knee feels this morning will decide things, and the Ravens will play rookie Ray Rice if they need to. Rice impressed in the preseason. Check back later for McGahee's game-time status.

	The Broncos have signed Williams to a five-year extension, worth $32 million. Williams played all 16 games last season, racking up 141 total tackles, one sack, one interception and two fumbles.

	Well, it's not an elaborate joke; Williams will start for the Dolphins in their season opening game against the Jets today. To say his fantasy value has skyrocketed is an understatement. When fantasy football opened this season, he went widely undrafted. In the last few weeks, owners taking a flyer on him in the middle rounds could reap big rewards for their risks. Ronnie Brown will get carries as well, but Williams is the starter.

	Smith has been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday's season opener against the 49ers. His throwing shoulder, the one he had surgery on, will be looked at by a doctor before further details are known. As expected, J.T. O’Sullivan will start the game.

	Hawk is questionable for the Packers Week 1 game. A team doctor needs to clear him to play with his injured chest muscle. I expect he will play, but if you want to play it safe, start another IDP since Green Bay doesn't play until Monday night.

	Dumervil is probable for the Broncos Week 1 game. A cast will protect his injured finger on Monday against the Raiders. Dumervil had 12 sacks and played all 16 games last season.

	Morgan will not start at WR on Sunday, but the team expects him to play some downs at WR and return kicks. Nothing surprising here from Mike Martz. We'll see how big of a role Morgan plays on a weekly basis here. He was a major weapon in the preseason, so we'd love to see him get a chance at the starting receiver role.

	Jones has lost the Texans number four receiver spot to David Anderson. He caught 15 balls in 14 games last season and isn't worth owning in fantasy leagues at this point.

	If Javon Walker can't play on Monday, Higgins and Ashley Lelie will be relied upon as the Raiders receiving corp. Higgins has one of the better names in football, but he's unproven. Walker could be a game-time decision. Ronald Curry is the only Raiders receiver worth starting, but Lelie could see a few targets as well.

	Peters returned to the team on Saturday and will hopefully play in Week 2. Him ending his holdout brings a sigh of relief from Marshawn Lynch owners. Buffalo travels to Jacksonville next week.

	Jackson is probable for the Broncos Week 1 game. With Brandon Marshall serving his suspension, Jackson, Brandon Stokley, Tony Scheffler and Eddie Royal will need to get it done in receiving department.
